Handcrafted in London, a limited-edition collection by renowned Japanese ceramicist Akiko Hirai. Akiko Kohiki Teapot with Akebi vine handle. Each piece is formed using Kohiki; high temperature Raku clay is fired with a white slip, then covered in a transparent glaze, for a soft, earthy finish. Her distinctive works emerge from a rare balance of masterful craft and the unpredictable reaction of minerals and elements within the kiln. Each piece is individual.
