Bangle in 15kt gold and platinum, designed in the form of a horseshoe and engraved along the edge with 'wear this for good luck'. A Victorian-era piece from circa 1900, drawing on ancient symbolism where the crescent form offered protection and fortune. English. Sourced by Will Martindale, Classical Gem Hunter, a curator of historical jewellery pieces, based in Mayfair. Will is drawn to pieces with an authentic sense of beauty; he believes jewellery is made to be worn, held and lived in. These pieces were selected by Jonathan Anderson, bridging the worlds of antiquity and fine craftsmanship.
