
Please note: These terms apply exclusively to purchases made via the official JW Anderson online store at jwanderson.com. For purchases made at our official physical boutiques, please refer to the in-store returns policy shown on your e-receipt or at point of sale. For purchases made through third-party stockists or department store concessions, please contact them directly as their returns policies will apply.
SHIPPING
Delivery Options: Where available, you may select from Standard or Express delivery options at checkout. Shipping costs are automatically calculated once the delivery address has been entered.
Shipping Fees: Fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on delivery address, parcel size, weight and contents. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the event of a return.
Delivery Times:
DHL EXPRESS: 1–3 business days
DHL STANDARD: 4 –7 business days
Delivery times are estimates from dispatch and may be affected by customs clearance or payment verification delays.
Order Processing & Cut-Off Times:
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 12:00 PM (UK time) will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM (UK time), on weekends, or during Italian public holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
Deliveries: You will receive tracking updates via email and an estimated delivery date. You can also follow progress in your account under “My Orders”. During sale periods, dispatch may take longer and we will notify you of any delays.
Delivery Information: Deliveries take place Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Depending on your location, courier services may include:
- No-signature delivery / Safe Place
- Delivery to a neighbour, reception or security
- Rescheduling a new delivery date
- Redirection to a nearby DHL collection point
By selecting any of these options you acknowledge JW Anderson is not responsible for loss or damage once delivery is completed as instructed.
RISK & OWNERSHIP
Risk passes to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment, including delivery charges, has been received.
DUTIES & TAXES
We include the cost of taxes and duties in your order for many locations, so no additional fees are due on delivery for the countries listed below:
European Union, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mainland China, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Qatar, Israel, India, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, U.A.E., Japan, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, San Marino, and Mexico.
If you are ordering within your own customs zone or country/region, import duties will not be applicable; however local VAT or sales taxes may apply. For the UK and the USA, these are included at checkout.
If a DAP (Delivery At Place) destination is selected (i.e., customers outside the countries/regions listed above), the price you pay to JW Anderson will exclude import duties and sales taxes. As the recipient you must pay these directly to the carrier to release your order from customs. We recommend contacting your local customs office for guidance before placing a DAP order.
SHIPPING TO USA
For international orders shipped to the US, US Customs may request your IRS, EIN or SSN before enabling delivery. You will normally have one week to provide this information before the order is returned to us for a refund.
RETURNS POLICY
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery for eligible items, which must meet the following conditions:
- Unworn (except for trying on), unwashed, undamaged and unused with original tags and intact security seals.
- Footwear should be tried on a soft surface to avoid marking soles and returned in original boxes within protective outer packaging.
- Lingerie and swimwear must be tried on over personal garments.
- Hosiery must be unopened and in original packaging.
- Books may be returned only if the transparent seal is unbroken.
- Homeware (e.g., ceramics) must be unused, unopened and in original packaging.
Non-returnable items:
- Personalised or made-to-order products (unless faulty)
- Earrings
- Socks and underwear
- Opened cosmetics or items with broken hygiene seals
- Edible goods (for health & safety reasons)
- Used homeware or unsealed books
Items returned outside these conditions may be declined or refunded at a reduced value. Please note: shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.
RETURNS PROCESS
To return an item:
- Log in to your JW Anderson account.
- Navigate to “My Orders & Returns”.
- Select the order and click “Request Return”.
- Follow the prompts to generate your return label.
- Download and print the label (also sent by email).
Pack the item securely with original packaging, attach the label, and hand it to the courier.
International & Non-European Returns:
Returns from outside Europe may require additional time for customs and processing. All returns are first received by our logistics partner in the Netherlands before being forwarded to JW Anderson’s warehouse for inspection. Refunds are issued once items are approved in line with our policy. We recommend keeping your return tracking number.
REFUNDS
Refunds are processed once returned items are received and inspected at our warehouse. If the items meet our return policy, you will receive an email confirming your refund. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCRs). If you choose this option you will be refunded the full price for the Product(s) (subject to our Returns Policy) and the cost of standard delivery, but you will be liable for the organisation and cost of returning the Product(s) to us.
